These terms of sale and delivery apply to all sales and deliveries and offers made on danish-furniture. dk

To make a purchase on www. danish-furniture.dk you need to go through 8 steps.

  3. Then proceed to checkout

  7. Check that all information is correct and approve the purchase

  1. Ordering

Orders can be placed around the clock at www. danish-furniture.dk through the website, 365 days a year. All prices are in Danish kroner including 25% VAT.

  1. Payment

Payment can either be made by ordering goods via card payment Dankort, Mastercard, Visa card, American Express, etc, ViaBill, Resursbank, Sparxpres.
There is no card fee in connection with your purchase.

When you shop with us, you are covered by the PriceRunner Purchase Guarantee. This means that you are guaranteed up to DKK 50,000 if a problem should arise in connection with your purchase. The purchase guarantee costs nothing and applies to all members who are logged in to PriceRunner. Even if you are not already a member of PriceRunner and have come to our website through them, your purchase may still be covered by the Purchase Guarantee. 4.1 Discount coupons

Only one discount coupon can be used per transaction. Each customer may use only one coupon. Discount coupons may only be used by the specific group or individuals for whom the coupons are intended.
Misuse of discount coupons may result in suspension and/or cancellation of the accounts and orders involved. We therefore reserve the right to refuse your order. Please ask if you are in doubt.

4.2 Payment with ViaBill

When purchasing with ViaBill, you will first receive your goods. You will then pay your
monthly payment on the 20th of each month.
If you do not pay on time, a fee of DKK 39,- will be charged.
If you cancel your purchase, the payment agreement with ViaBill will be terminated.
ViaBill finances purchases up to 2,000 kr.
Amounts over DKK 2,000 are financed in cooperation with SparXpress.

  1. Checking the furniture

We strongly recommend that you check the furniture upon receipt and ensure that there is no damage to the packaging (the item does not need to be unpacked, just check the packaging). If any damage to the packaging is found, please check the area of the furniture thoroughly for damage with the driver (take photos if possible). Get the driver to note and sign any damage on your order form and on the driver's trip list. Then we and the driver will find a solution to this.

If damage has occurred during transportation, write to us at support@danish-furniture.dk immediately after receipt. Please include photos of the damage as this will facilitate the handling of the claim. The case will be assessed as soon as possible. 

If there is visible damage to the packaging upon receipt and there is no immediate possibility of unpacking, you must sign with reservations on the consignment note, if possible. If necessary, ask the carrier to acknowledge that the damage has been seen. We strongly recommend that you unpack the shipment as soon as possible and immediately notify us or the carrier if there is any damage.

  1. Delivery

If your order is sent via Post Nord or GLS, you will receive a link to track the delivery of your package.

For deliveries of larger or heavy shipments made with carriers, the carrier will try to contact you before delivery.
We recommend that you are at home at the time of delivery to be able to acknowledge receipt.

6.1Delivery time and price

The delivery time is stated on our website for each product and is indicative. 

Delivery of smaller shipments can be done in collaboration with Gls, Post Nord, DPD, UPS, Danske Fragtmænd and DSV or external carrier.
Extra shipping costs may apply in connection with delivery to non-bridge-fixed islands and abroad.

The delivery price varies depending on the weight of the shipment from DKK 299, but max DKK 595. for delivery to the curb for the large shipments such as sofas within Denmark, where it is a question of mainland and bridged islands. The delivery price is displayed after you have added the item to the basket.

As for the delivery price to non-bridged islands and abroad, you will be notified by email about additional shipping costs after your order is created, when we have found the cheapest shipping price for the customer based on the weight, size and number of packages. 

6.2When delivery is made with an external freight company

The order is delivered to the curb with the help of delivery against payment by agreement if this is possible. We always recommend that you are present at the address during the agreed delivery interval. 

If it is not possible to deliver due to space constraints, where the item cannot be placed, or if no one is at home at the time of delivery, we will take the furniture back. Please note that freight will be charged for re-delivery.

6.3 Time of delivery and missed delivery

The driver will always try to contact the day before delivery and up to half an hour before arrival, but unfortunately this is not something we can guarantee. We cannot be held responsible if you do not receive a text message or answer the phone when the carrier calls. In this case, the item will either be left, if possible, or taken back and we will then charge you for the return costs and a new delivery. 

In the event of a failed delivery where the item cannot be left, it may take up to 3 weeks before a new delivery appointment can be made and an additional fee will be charged for a new delivery.

6. 4 Types of delivery

Delivery with assistance for pick-up: If you have delicate floors/carpets, it would be a good idea to cover them, as the driver's footwear may be dirty. (The driver is not allowed to put the footwear on the floor according to AT work's environmental protection rules). If damage occurs in the home, the driver MUST be informed before leaving the home. 

Delivery takes place by you, with the help of the driver, carrying the goods to the first accessible room in your home (not the entrance).

Curbside delivery: Delivery is made at the curb or where the car can easily stop closest to the home.

The driver leaves the furniture by the car, from where you have to get it into the home yourself, without the driver's help.

Collection of goods: Should you wish to pick up your goods yourself, you will be notified by text message when your goods are ready for collection in one of our physical stores. 

Collection can be made in either Ringe, Sorø or Fredericia within the store's opening hours. 

Change of delivery method: If you wish to change from delivery to collection or vice versa, you must inform our customer service. Please note that costs may be charged in connection with this. 

6.5 Other information about delivery

In connection with the delivery of large shipments, it has happened in the past that the furniture has not been able to enter the recipient's premises or that the packaging has been damaged. As we do not know the access conditions at the time of delivery, it is your responsibility that the furniture can enter.

In case of inadequate access, we reserve the right to put the furniture outside the door or charge extra for return transportation and redelivery. If the driver assesses that the access road is not sufficiently clear, but you as a customer accept that the driver tries to carry the furniture in, this is at the customer's own risk and neither Biva nor the driver can be held responsible for any damage to the home and contents. Similarly, if it is necessary to unpack the furniture to get it in safely, you as a customer are liable for any depreciation due to lack of packaging, in the event of a later cancellation of the purchase

  1. Special productions


Special productions are items that do not consist of standard choices and are produced specifically according to the customer's wishes. It can be sofas with a specific color or size, mattresses that are self-guarded for beds, etc.

Some items can be delivered in different colors and sizes. If you want e.g. a specific color that is not already specified in your order, you can write your wish in the message box when ordering, which we will, as far as possible, comply with. Call us to make sure we can deliver your desired color or size.
Fee for material change for custom-made furniture is 395 kr. For some materials we charge 25, 35 or 45%, this is shown on the top right of the catalog and in our stores.

Delivery time varies between 4-13 weeks depending on the supplier's production capacity. Under the heading "delivery time", which is listed on all products, you will be able to see the indicative delivery time of the product in question. 

The following conditions also apply:

50% of the price of the item serves as a deposit.

You can cancel your purchase up to 14 calendar days after receipt for online purchases. Please note that cancellation of a special order must also comply with the generally applicable rules for right of withdrawal.

  1. Right of withdrawal

You as a customer have 14 days full right of withdrawal when shopping at danish-furniture.

The right of withdrawal expires 14 calendar days after the day you have received your item, or get the last item in physical possession. Please note that these conditions only apply to online purchases, and that different rules apply to online purchases.

You must within 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods give us clear notice that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be made either by email to support@danish-furniture.dk, by phone or by using the standard withdrawal form. In your message, you must clearly indicate that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. Remember to include your order number. 

You cannot cancel by simply refusing to take delivery of the goods without giving us clear notice of this.

You cannot change or cancel an order if your order has been shipped or passed on to the freight, as the shipment cannot be stopped. If you refuse to accept your order without giving us clear notice, we will charge delivery and return costs in the refund. You can return a product after you have received your order.

8. 1 Return

You must return your order to us or hand it in to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery of the goods.

You must contact customer service before returning an item as this facilitates the processing of your withdrawal. 

Send an email to Support@danish-furniture.dk state a subject and order number, and we will quickly return with instructions on how to return the item.

Missing original packaging may possibly constitute a depreciation in value, so to be sure to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the item is returned in original packaging.

Certain items, by virtue of their nature, cannot be returned by normal mail. This applies, for example, to sofas.

If we have to pick up furniture from the customer, we charge between 299-2500 DKK. Items are only picked up from the curb.

Collection of sofas, beds and other large furniture costs up to 2500 DKK. 
Collection of medium-sized furniture such as sideboards, wardrobes, dining tables, etc. costs DKK 995. 
Collection of smaller furniture such as carpets, chairs, etc. costs from 299-595 DKK. 

We always calculate the return costs based on the number of items, weight and size, so prices may vary. 

8.2The condition of the item when you return it

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. In other words - you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you must not take it into actual use

If the product has been tried beyond what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that in the event of cancellation of the purchase, you will only get part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the product.

8. 3 Return of part of the purchase


If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased under one order.

Please note that you will not be refunded the delivery costs if you cancel part of your purchase.

If you wish to partially cancel your order and you have received a collector's discount in your purchase, please note that the entire collector's discount will be deducted from the refund. 



8. 4 Refund of the purchase amount

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest form of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay after we have received the goods back and examined them. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction. If you have paid physically in our store or transferred via bank transfer/mobilepay, please provide us with your reg and account number for the refund. 

In the event of a depreciation for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.

If your order was settled with a payment card (credit card) via the Internet, the amount will be returned to your account after a few days depending on the payment card you used. In case of cancellation of a product in an order where a discount has been obtained, the discount will lapse upon partial return.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back.

For business purchases, there is no right of return and the order is therefore a binding agreement

8. 5 Return addresses

If you regret the purchase, the item must be returned to the following address:

Please note that the item must be sent with delivery, as we do not pick up items in the parcel shop

Items returned UFRANCO or COD will be refused receipt and returned by post/carrier to the customer with freight bill. A copy of the invoice MUST always be enclosed.

We do not accept parcels sent COD.

Over the 14 days, goods can only be returned by prior agreement with www.danish-furniture.dk.

  1. Claims and warranty

The Danish Consumer Protection Act's rules on defects may apply to purchases of goods.

There is a standard 2-year warranty on all our products. This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or reduced in price, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of improper use of the product or other damaging behavior. If the furniture is used for commercial use, the purchase will not be covered by the right of complaint. 

If there is more than 2 years warranty on a product, this is a manufacturer's warranty under its terms and conditions.

If an item is returned for repair and www.danish-furniture.dk's technical department concludes that the item is defective, it will be sent for repair. The repair time depends on the pressure of the workshop in question. If the www.danish-furniture.dk technical department estimates that the item cannot be repaired, it will be exchanged for a new one.

Some sofas have a transport fabric mounted under the bottom of the sofa. The sole purpose of this fabric is to protect the sofa from dust during transportation. The fabric can easily break, which is completely irrelevant and has no practical function. This will not damage the sofa and is therefore not considered a complaint.

On receipt of the delivery, you are recommended to check the delivery, including whether the quality and quantity of the delivery corresponds to what was agreed. If the buyer finds that this is not the case, please notify www.danish-furniture.dk in writing within 2 days of receipt of the goods, as this facilitates the further complaint process considerably.

If the delivery does not correspond to the agreed quality or quantity, www.danish-furniture.dk has the right to replace and/or redeliver.

You must complain within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the defect in the goods. If you complain within two months of discovering the defect, the complaint will always be timely if the complaint is justified. 

Changes or interventions in the purchased without www.danish-furniture.dk's written consent may mean that the right of complaint cannot be asserted.
If www.danish-furniture.dk requests it, you must immediately after the complaint, return the allegedly defective product to www.danish-furniture.dk in proper packaging. www.danish-furniture.dk reserves the right to test goods claimed to be defective. There may be an examination fee if Danish Furniture has obtained the customer's active consent to this, if errors or defects are not found in such an examination

The 2-year warranty does not include batteries and wear parts or parts that have broken due to the customer's own interventions or incorrect assembly.

10.Product descriptions

www.danish-furniture.dk and its partners strive to be as accurate as possible.
Custom sofas with mattress extension: Max load 100 KG.
We do not recommend that the sofa is used as a full replacement for a bed.

11. Personal data policy

In order for you to enter into an agreement/trade with us via the website, you must register with the following personal information; name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We register and disclose your personal information in order to deliver the product to you.
The personal information is registered with
www.danish-furniture.dk and stored for 5 years, after which the information is deleted. 

We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies only process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your data with adequate protection


When personal data is collected via our website, we ensure that it is always done with your explicit consent, so that you are informed of exactly what data is collected and why.
We do not store customer data encrypted. We do not transmit customer information encrypted.

You have the right to know what information we process about you.
If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it. This could be, for example, if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we needed it. 11.1 Personal information

The information provided to www.danish-furniture.dk is used exclusively for order processing. The information is stored in a database so that www.danish-furniture.dk can quickly and easily find the customer in the event of subsequent transactions/complaints.
Only where the customer has actively chosen to receive any advertising e-mail, information will be used for advertising purposes.

In addition, the IP address from which the order is placed is logged. IP address is used exclusively in connection with fraud cases. www.danish-furniture.dk uses sessions to keep track of a customer's shopping cart on a visit to the website. This session contains no personal information and will be deleted again when the customer leaves the website.

11.2 Cookies

On www.danish-furniture.dk we use cookies to make your visits with us easier. A cookie is a term for the fact that a user's behavior on a network is recorded by the user himself (on the user's hard drive). In this way, the server (e.g. a website) knows who the user is on the user's next visit.

On www.danish-furniture.dk cookies are used with the aim of optimizing the website and its functionalities, thus making the visit as easy as possible for you.
You always have the option of deleting cookies from your computer. This can be done, for example, as follows: In Internet Explorer 5.X, cookies are deleted under the menu "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "Delete cookies

If you want to complain about your purchase, please contact salg@danish-furniture.dk. If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can file a complaint with the relevant boards in the area, if the conditions for this are met.

Terms and conditions for in-store purchases

These terms and conditions apply to all sales and deliveries and offers, made in one of Danish Furniture's physical stores

  1. Reservations

Danish Furniture makes reservations for typing errors, price changes, sold-out items and technical errors. All prices include VAT and other taxes in Denmark.

  1. Payment deadline

Items are paid when ordering. A final reservation of the item is only made once the payment has been registered on the order. It is not possible to pay on delivery.

  1. Right of return and exchange

Return of goods must be made within 14 days of payment of these physically in the store, upon presentation of a receipt or order confirmation.

The following conditions must be met to maintain your right of return: The item must be returned to Danish Furniturer's address or picked up at the buyer's address against payment of up to DKK 1,500. Items are only picked up from the curb. When returning the item, it must be intact, unused, not have a clear personal touch and be in original packaging. The receipt or order confirmation must be presented upon collection/return.

If your order was paid for with a debit card (credit card), the amount will be returned to your account within a few days. If a Visa or MasterCard was used, it can take up to 30 days for your bank to release the funds. The processing time varies greatly from bank to bank and no one other than the bank can influence the process. When paying physically in store or via bank transfer/mobilepay, we need the reg and account number for the return. The following goods are not covered by the right of return: Goods purchased as possessed e.g. exhibition models, goods that have been disassembled at your own request, special orders that are not put into production until after the order has been placed and customized goods that are produced according to the customer's specific wishes (eg.

  1. Special orders

For items that are produced specifically according to your wishes (e.g. sofa in special dimensions, color, etc.), there is usually a delivery time of around 4-12 weeks. The delivery time is indicative and may vary depending on the the supplier's production capacity. Danish Furniture reserves the right to charge the full amount of the order immediately after placing the order. Please note that special orders are not covered by the conditions for return and exchange rights cf. section 3.

  1. Collection of goods

Should you wish to collect your goods yourself, you will receive a text message when your goods are ready for collection in one of our physical stores. 

Collection can be made by appointment during store opening hours. 

Change of delivery method: If you wish to change from delivery to collection or vice versa, you must inform our customer service. Please note that costs may be charged in connection with this. 

  1. Postponement of delivery week

The delivery week stated when ordering is indicative and deviations may occur. Should problems arise with your order before the expected delivery week, which are beyond Danish-Furniture's control (production failure, delivery failure, etc.), we will contact you as far as possible before the expected delivery week. It is not possible to cancel your purchase due to delayed delivery. Danish-furniture does not pay compensation if your goods are delayed.

There is no possibility of disassembly of goods at the address.

We cannot be held responsible if you do not receive a text message or answer the phone when the carrier calls. In this case, the item will either be left, if possible, or taken back and we will then charge you for the return costs and a new delivery. 

In the case of a failed delivery where the item cannot be left, it may take up to 3 weeks before a new delivery appointment can be made and an additional fee will be charged for a new delivery.
